EWC 2026 Accreditation Platform

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 25 May 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the EWC 2026 Accreditation platform, including our website and our iOS and Android mobile applications (together, the "Platform"), operated by Esports World Cup Foundation ("EWC Foundation", "we", "us", or "our").

By creating an account, submitting an accreditation application, or otherwise accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Definitions

  • "Event" — the Esports World Cup 2026 and related activities.
  • "Accreditation" — the authorization to access designated areas of the Event.
  • "Badge" / "Credential" — the physical or digital pass (including any QR code) issued upon accreditation.
  • "User" / "you" — any person who accesses the Platform, including applicants, visitors, and organization representatives and operators.
  • "Content" — any information, documents, or photographs you submit through the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Platform on your own behalf. Accreditation for minors must be arranged and consented to by a parent, legal guardian, or authorized organizational representative. If you use the Platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Accounts and Access

  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account, and must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
  • We may assign roles (for example applicant, representative, reviewer, operator, printer, or scanner) that determine your access and the functionality available to you.
  • You must not share, sell, or transfer your account or allow others to use it.

4. Nature of Accreditation

Accreditation is granted at the sole discretion of the Foundation and the Event organizers and is a revocable privilege, not a right. Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. We may approve, reject, request changes to, suspend, or revoke accreditation at any time — including on the basis of security, safety, eligibility, capacity, conduct, or legal requirements — and we are not obliged to provide reasons.

5. Your Obligations and Accurate Information

  • You warrant that all information and documents you provide are true, accurate, current, and complete, and that you are entitled to provide them.
  • You must promptly update any information that changes.
  • Providing false, misleading, or fraudulent information may result in rejection or revocation of accreditation and may be reported to the authorities.
  • You must comply with all applicable laws and with Event rules, venue regulations, and the instructions of Event and security staff.

6. Badges and Credentials

  • Badges and credentials remain the property of the Foundation and are issued solely to the named holder.
  • They are strictly personal and non-transferable and must not be shared, copied, altered, sold, or lent.
  • You must wear or present your badge as instructed and produce it on request.
  • QR codes are for legitimate access and verification only.
  • You must report a lost, stolen, or damaged badge immediately.
  • Accreditation and badges are valid only for the stated Event, zones, and period, and must be returned or destroyed on expiry or revocation.
  • Your access is limited to the zones and categories assigned to you.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorized purpose;
  • impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation;
  • share, duplicate, forge, or tamper with badges, QR codes, or credentials, or attempt to access areas you are not authorized to enter;
  • access, interfere with, or disrupt the Platform, its security, or its infrastructure, or attempt to bypass authentication or access controls;
  • upload malicious code or content that is unlawful, infringing, or offensive;
  • scrape, harvest, reverse-engineer, or copy the Platform or its data except as permitted by law; or
  • use the Platform in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it or interfere with others' use.

8. App License and Device Permissions

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the mobile applications on a device you own or control, solely for accessing accreditation services. You must comply with the applicable app-store rules (the Apple App Store and Google Play). The apps may request device permissions (such as camera and storage) that are described in our Privacy Policy; you may manage these in your device settings.

9. Your Content

You retain ownership of the Content you submit. You grant the Foundation and its authorized operators a license to use, store, process, reproduce, and display that Content as necessary to provide accreditation services, produce credentials, and operate and secure the Event, in accordance with the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for your Content and warrant that you have the rights to provide it and that it does not infringe any third-party rights or any law. Badge photographs must meet the stated photo guidelines.

10. Intellectual Property

The Platform and all related content, software, designs, logos, trademarks, and other materials (excluding your Content) are owned by or licensed to the Foundation and are protected by intellectual-property laws. "Esports World Cup", "EWC", and related marks are trademarks of the Foundation and/or its licensors and may not be used without prior written permission. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.

11. Third-Party Services

The Platform may integrate with or link to third-party services (for example app stores, hosting, and identity providers). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for them.

12. Availability and Changes to the Platform

We aim to keep the Platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Platform, and may change features, at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any unavailability.

13. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform and/or revoke your accreditation at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if required for security or legal reasons, or at the discretion of the Foundation or Event organizers. On termination, your right to use the Platform ceases and you must return or destroy any issued credentials. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

14. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Platform will be secure, error-free, or always available, or that any application will be approved.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Foundation and its affiliates, officers, employees, operators, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Platform or any accreditation decision. Nothing in these Terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Foundation and its affiliates, officers, employees, and operators from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Platform, your Content, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

17. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and process personal data. By using the Platform, you acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

18. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, without prejudice to any mandatory rights you may have under applicable law.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Platform after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

20. General

  • If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
  • Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right.
  • You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a reorganization or transfer.
  • These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Platform.
